Welcome to the Digital Era
The rise of the digital era has created a completely new world that allows us to express our creativity in so many new ways from online art communities to YouTube music videos. However, with so many new outlets to showcase our creative abilities the threat of piracy becomes an important issue. I chose to research more about creativity, piracy and intellectual property because as an artist these are issues that I need to know about especially when I sell my artwork on the Internet. In this blog I hope to research and find the answers to questions surrounding these topics to better my understanding about the internet.

I'm interested in your perspective on these issues, since you have firsthand experience with creating something new and showcasing it. There is an element of risk with posting your own videos and artwork, etc, on the internet, but learning more about this will better equip you to handle the things that come up.
