As we all know, the digital era has produced many amazing and new products to use from the iPad to remixing software for music. Pretty much, if we keep going at this rate, the possibilities are endless. These new inventions help us to express our creativity in ways we never imagined. My personal favorite is Adobe Photoshop which is going to be my topic for this post.
I absolutely LOVE Photoshop! I feel with Photoshop one is able to manipulate any photograph into something completely different. Yes, it is a little overwhelming when you see all the different tools and buttons (I still don't know what everything is used for) but once you play with it a little more, you begin to figure everything out. Plus, a lot of the times you stumble across a tool and you learn as you go. My mom is a graphic designer so I had the opportunity to play with Photoshop at home for free (the software usually costs between $700-$1000...) I also was lucky enough to tag along with her to one of the big Photoshop conventions in Austin a couple of years ago. I learned a bunch of techniques that I regularly use today.
I definitely recommend Photoshop to anyone who is artistic and loves technology...it's the perfect combination!
